Guidelines for Insurance Coverage: Insurance Claim Process
Patient Information
Upon Admission:
- Proceed to the Insurance Desk.
- Submit your insurance details and Know Your Customer (KYC) documents.
- The Insurance Desk will initiate the preauthorization process.
- The preauthorization response from the insurance company typically takes between 3 to 6 hours.
Upon Discharge:
- Obtain the necessary documents from the Nurses Station.
- The Insurance Desk will submit an enhancement request.
- Upon approval from the insurance company, you will be notified.
- Proceed to the Billing Counter for final bill settlement.
- Refunds, if any, will be processed upon actual realization of the enhanced amount from the insurance company.
- The enhancement approval process usually takes 2 to 6 hours.
